Gales cause Marchwood Cruise to be cancelled, but Rosario’s came up trumps
The F7/8 forecast caused the annual cruise to Marchwood SC to be cancelled, but that didn’t stop the Yacht Section from organising an alternative trip, but by car instead of yacht. Rosario’s Tapas Restaurant at East Wittering came up trumps and laid on a wonderful tapas meal for 33 CYC members on Saturday night. The choice was overwhelming, the service great and the chat, well it could be heard from the street! Three hours after sitting down we made our return passage to First Light, safely tucked up in Chichester Marina as rigging whistled and boats tugged on their mooring lines.
