Festive Sailors’ Supper 2018

The Yacht Section got Christmas off to a very merry start at their monthly Sailors Supper in December.

In previous years the dress code had been Christmas Jumpers, but this year sailors were encouraged to incorporate the Club Burgee into their festive outfits. And what imaginative outfits were worn. Lights appeared on headgear, earrings and jumpers. Did I recognise an East Cardinal flashing three times? and I think there were starboard and port hand marks flashing green and red.

A very jolly evening was enjoyed by over 60 sailors served by our hard working bar staff.
