Yachts : Last Night of the Proms to Bembridge

Rally starts with a short sail to Bembridge on Friday 13th September on the midday tide staying on the Duver pontoon. A pontoon party followed by a dinner at Brading Haven YC. Lunchtime sail back to Chichester on Saturday to our own moorings in readiness for the Last Night of the Proms at CYC in the evening. Dinner will be at CYC off the normal menu (depending on numbers). The evening will consist of a live feed to a big screen (via the BBC) from the Royal Albert Hall in time for the rousing numbers such as Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem, etc. So bring out your red, white and blues, union jack ties, waistcoats, trousers, dresses etc (the more patriotic and outrageous the better). There will be prizes on the night for the best dressed person, loudest singing table plus others.
Saturday evening will be open to yacht section members who cannot make the rally.
