Welcome !
The Laser Class has been an adopted class at Chichester Yacht Club for over 25 years. There are a number of keen Laser sailors who regularly take part in CYC Club Racing, and some also compete in Open Meetings around the area. Both Standard and Radial rig Lasers are regularly sailed by club members, with a few 4.7 rigs.
The numbers of Laser Sailors who participate in regular Club Racing has increased considerably over the last couple of years, and there is close and friendly competition between sailors.
Last year over 30 Lasers from across the South Coast participated in what was a great days sailing. The CYC Laser Open is part of the Laser South Coast Grand Prix series. The last event in the series is held at CYC for the final prize giving.
This web page aims to keep all Chichester Yacht Club Standard, Radial and 4.7 Lasers up to-date with the latest news and Laser specific events and races.
