Bembridge June 2026
Despite the early start on Saturday morning meaning that most people to get into Bembridge had to arrive around high water at 10:30 the weather was kind with warm sunshine and gentle winds. Brading Haven Yacht Club once again looked after us extremely well for supper on Saturday evening when 35 of us sat down and enjoyed the summers evening and everyones company. More »

Clipper Race
The 22 June sees the start of the great CYC Atlantic Clipper Round the World showdown between our RC Yachts Simon Fraser and RC Dinghies Michael Olliff. They are racing against each other from Washington DC to Oban and then from Oban back to Portsmouth on Yacht Club Punta De LEste and Qingdao respectively. CYC contribute to rowing success in the annual Cockleshell Race
The coastal rowing race season is well underway. Last weekend saw the annual Cockleshell Race of nearly 14km and hosted by Eastney Cruising Association in Southsea. The endurance race takes rowers of many boat classes from ECA out into the Solent, through the famous Submarine Barrier and out to Horse Sands Fort and back.
