CYC Ramblers - Stoughton to the Devil's Humps by Kingley Vale

We will meet at a the Hare and Hounds, Stoughton , PO18 9JQ  ready for a 10am start.  Parking is along the road. 

We will proceed easterly to turn right to join the Monarch's Way. Climb steadily for 1.5 miles to a junction of paths, turn right southwards to pass through woodland for about half a mile. Turn right along a footpath for another half mile to reach the Devils Humps. Stop for coffee and enjoying the view. Continue through the wood and at the end turn sharp left, passing one path on the left in a wood. Turn very sharp right though woodland, to descend gradually through woodland, then open fields to a ruined farm building in a westerly direction. Turn right down towards a wood, then through a field to the road. Turn right and walk back up the lane towards the pub. 

Total distance 4.5 miles

Estimated time 2.5 hours.
The pub can accept 20 people at 12.30 and I will send out the menu nearer the time.
