CYC Garden Party 2025

On Saturday 14th June, we held our Garden Party and what a lovely day it turned out to be! Set in our stunning garden overlooking the harbour, the weather and view alone was worth coming to the club for, but there was so much more to enjoy!  

The sun was shining and a local band, Full Circle, played incredible live music for our members and their guests. Traditional garden games such as a coconut shy and tin can alley kept everyone entertained throughout the day. Our CYC dog show was a real crowd pleaser too! Owners signed up their pooches to be in Waggiest Tail, Prettiest Bitch, Most Handsome Dog, Best Handler, Best Trick and Dog the Judge Would Most Like to Take Home and we awarded prizes for our top 3 from each category.  

On the menu was a selection of light bites, our club classics and the star of the show, a fresh and colourful salad bar, beautifully laid out in our restaurant. Those who had pre-ordered afternoon teas enjoyed a delicious selection of cakes, scones, sandwiches and unlimited tea and coffee. But don't worry, for those who missed out on pre-ordering, we had homemade coffee and walnut loaf cake and miniature Victoria sponge cakes being sold on the bar. We couldn't leave out a treat for our four-legged guests, dog ice-cream was available to purchase from the bar.
