Ramble: Levin Down and Singleton Forest

LEVIN DOWN AND SINGLETON FOREST
Meet at 9:45 (Departure 10:00) for an interesting and varied, but reasonably demanding walk starting from The Fox Goes Free at Charlton. (PO18 0HU : what3words: booklets.working.solids).
The walk is 5 1/2 miles long starting with a steady climb to the East of Levin Down and passes along a ridge giving fine views to the East. The route enters Singleton Forest on route to a working oil well followed by a return via the West side of Levin Down.
Lunch is booked in The Fox Goes Free at 13:15 Max number of diners is 30.
There are a couple of stiles and its a little muddy in places. When the walk was investigated at the beginning of the year there were a couple of fallen trees across the path which required negotiating.
