Sunshine Tours Southampton

This year we're off for the weekend to Ocean Village in Southampton. It's an early Saturday start, the tide setting to the west just before 7am. It's some 23NM from the Bar Beacon to Southampton. The tide in Southampton Water sets to the North in the early afternoon, so timing is all, but in any event, the good news, its a neap tide. There are plenty of facilities in or near the marina and we'll arrange a meal nearer the date, to follow a pontoon party. On Sunday, the tide in the Solent will set to the east soon after midday, so a leisurely start for the return trip.
